Join in for Dinner at Sweet Vette’s for June’s event. On the menu will be spaghetti with ground turkey, golden fried catfish, potato salad, slice bread with two mouth watering desserts.
Please join Sister Spokesman this month where the theme is Black Women experiences and hip hop culture. This topic is certain to enlighten us as we look back on the last two decades. Desserts and more will on sale with a variety of items to choose from. Sweet Vette’s Desserts will have those down home, mouth watering favorites and one of her newest menu items.
A recent trip to St. Louis to visit a friend was a wonderful vacation during the holiday season. I flew down for a week between Christmas and New Years. While there Sweet Vettes had the opportunity to served up some of her signature mouth watering desserts including sweet potato pies and banana nut breads. I also prepared a number of other meals while there.
The last Sister Spokesman Event of 2010 will be happening at Arnellia’s. Our theme this month is “Belly Dancing”. Featured this month is Banat el Kamar which is the longest running community education belly dance program in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. The theme is certain to spark some chatter and encouragement to get exercise and move parts of your body that perhaps you haven’t move in a while.
December 2010 marks the first full year of Dinner at Sweet Vette’s gatherings and also marks the last event for calendar year 2010. Homemade beef stew with cornbread and a rich toss garden salad with a variety of salad dressings including French, Italian, ranch and balsamic vinaigrette covers our menu. Desserts served will be mouth watering sweet potato pie and down home raspberry dumplings.

A panel will speak on the importance of good financial health and options that savings money and a good credit score can provides. Sweet Vette’s Desserts will be vend with those fresh out of the oven banana nut breads and sweet potato pies
On Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 3pm it’s all going down. Dinner will be served at Sweet Vettes table. A good appetite is the only thing needed and you will not be disappointed.
Please join Sweet Vettes Desserts at this month’s Sister Spokesman event. This month’s theme is all about fashion. A Fashion Show will take place with the latest and hottest tips on applying make-up, what’s hot and what’s not in today’s fashion. The fall collection is beautiful with various shades of olives and earth tones sweeping the fashion world.
This month’s Dinner at Sweet Vettes table will be on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Meals will be served at 3:00pm. Dinner at Sweet Vettes runs from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. I must admit, there have been times when guests didn’t leave until closer to 10pm. This shows the atmosphere here is very relaxing. Lively conversations range from cooking tips, vacations, exercise and more.
Sweet Vettes had the pleasure of catering to a group of African American males who are planting seeds of tomorrow. The event took place mid July at a church in St. Paul.
