Sweet Vettes Desserts Customer Appreciation – February Twenty Ten
Sweet Vettes celebrated customer appreciation at this month’s event with ½ price meals ($5 each). Sweet Vettes chose Mexican cuisine featuring turkey Enchiladas, corn and a fabulous salad made of spinach leaves, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, mandarine orange slices, pineapple chunks, strawberries, glazed pecans, broiled chicken breasts and served with a honey/balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Chosen desserts included both walnut brownies covered in rich New York vanilla ice cream and one of my signature dessert s “sweet potato pie”.
As the group gathered and enjoyed the meal, we began sharing in our first ever Book Club at Sweet Vettes table. The book chosen for this month’s event was by nationally known author Susan L. Taylor titled “All About Love”. It was a great read with many inspirational moments through and through.
Not only was Susan’s book discussed, but other topics such as religion, HIV/AIDS and politics. The group enjoyed the meal and to go boxes were in order at the end for the taking. We relaxed in this glorious atmosphere for 4 – 5 hours by the time the last person left.
