Sweet Vettes Caters for Yarbrough Family Reunion
On June 25, 2010 Sweet Vettes had the pleasure of catering for the Yarbrough Family Reunion – Friday Hospitality Evening. It was a reunion with approximately 55 guests in attendance. They gathered at a lovely hotel in Bloomington just blocks from the Mall of America.
The requested menu was Sweet Vettes signature turkey salad and grapes with rotini, rolls and butter, veggie tray with dip, fruit tray with strawberries, green grapes, red grapes, cantaloupe, cherries and watermelon and a peach cobbler. The following day an extra large Louisiana banana pudding was requested for the group. When my contact came to pick up the banana pudding, she provided feedback on the meal letting me know the food was excellent and plentiful. The turkey salad and grapes took the salad to a whole different level was her words. My contact for this event was Ms. Fry who was a pleasure to work with. We had such an outstanding rapport that I threw in a few extras to add to the spread, a sweet potato pie and a watermelon bowl. In Louisiana this is called “lagniappe” meaning a little bit more or something extra. Ms. Fry says she will definitely use Sweet Vettes for future catering needs and was so gracious to give a $25.00 plus tip.
If you have a small to medium size event and need catering services or have a taste for down home mouth watering desserts, I would love the opportunity to meet your needs.
