July’s Sister Spokesman Event took place at Vic’s in Minneapolis.  It was well attended.  The layout for vendors at Vic’s was less than desired simply because the vendors were totally separated from the guests and speaker at the event.  In addition, the sound system did not deliver throughout the restaurant where the vendors were designated at.

Sweet Vettes Desserts was on hand with a tasty display of some hot out of the oven banana nut breads, mouth watering sweet potato pies and of course those Louisiana banana puddings.  As usual Sweet Vettes gives free samples of each of her products to encourage sales and give guests at Sister Spokesman the opportunity to become familiar with her products.

The month’s theme was “Home Decorating”.  Ideas stemmed around creating a memorable and eye-catching living room and bathroom that’s also functional.  Interior designer Cyndi Nightengale spoke on simple decorating tips on a budget.

Each month at Sister Spokesman vendors are given the opportunity to give a 60 second live spot highlighting their business and products.  Sweet Vettes took the opportunity and spoke of the many faucets of her growing small business.  She mentioned her monthly “Dinner at Sweet Vettes” which generally falls on the 3^rd Sunday each month at 2:30pm.  She mentioned the delicious meal, networking of other business minded women and providing a pool of new clients to other entuprenuers, how she started a book club, door prizes and how she’s partnering with other women such as Margo Britten, a MaryKay Beauty Consultant for free facials and foot pampering for the ladies.   She spoke of how relaxing and engaging these events are at Dinners at Sweet Vettes table.  

Join Sweet Vettes Desserts at August Sister Spokesman event to be held at Rubylicious Café in Robbinsdale.  The theme will be “Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle”. 

Since I’m an avid walker and walks 3 to 4 miles three times per week, I’m certain to pick up some tips.  I recognize the importance of getting exercise is on a continuous basis.  See you there in your work out gear.
