It’s all going down at the usual spot. We’ll be on the deck lines with beautiful floral arrangements. We have a great down home menu. Smothered pork chops with rice and gravy, homemade cheese & macaroni and greens with smoked turkey. Desserts include mouth watering Louisiana Banana Pudding, lemon pound cake and a fruit salad including honey dew melon, cantaloupe, blueberries and strawberries. Beverages serve are punch and bottled water.

The menu this month was inspired by one of my loyal customers Mrs. Brewer who’s 83 years old. She always places her order and sometimes place one for her friend Mrs. McKinney. When she and I talked recently, she shared with me what she wanted.

Door prizes – Each paying guest upon arrival name is placed in a drawing for a chance to win one of Sweet Vettes mouth watering desserts. Depending on the number of guests, there’s often 2 drawings.

Facial and Foot Spas for the Ladies – Sweet Vettes has partnered with Mary Kay Consultant, Margo Britten. After the meal, we dive into getting that special touch with a facial. The ladies loves the TLC and we deserve it. We then head down to the feet for the soaking and soothing. As ladies, we are always on the go and our work is never done. At this month’s event, you are welcomed to get total relaxation in on the deck. More door prizes will be given away, compliments of Margo. This is a fun event and plans are already in the making for an additional facial/foot spa at a future Dinner at Sweet Vettes on the deck.
