Dinner at Sweet Vettes – December 13, 2009
December 2009 Dinner at Sweet Vette’s was again a success. I measure success by the invited guest comments and positive energy. It’s largely measured on how much they’ve enjoyed the meal and desserts.
The menu consisted of baked chicken with whipped potatoes, collard greens with smoked turkey, corn bread and homemade cheese and macaroni.
For dessert I served two of those famous mouth watering desserts: Louisiana banana pudding and sweet potato pie. Also featured was one of my new creations: strawberry pie.
My guests enjoyed the meal and desserts and were too full to move for a while. They chilled for a while longer and enjoyed catching up since the last Dinner at Sweet Vette’s. It’s so amazing to hear them say to me, “Everything was so delicious! What will you make next month?”
