Dinner at Sweet Vettes – September Twenty Ten
This month’s Dinner at Sweet Vettes table will be on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Meals will be served at 3:00pm. Dinner at Sweet Vettes runs from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. I must admit, there have been times when guests didn’t leave until closer to 10pm. This shows the atmosphere here is very relaxing. Lively conversations range from cooking tips, vacations, networking, exercise and more.
Menu
A real treat is on the menu for September. Served will be a two meat, three cheese lasagna, french garlic bread, fried chicken drummies and a rich toss salad including lettuce, fresh tomatoes, carrots, cukes, broccoli, cauliflower and craisins. Salad dressings available include french, ranch and italian. Desserts will include a lemon cake and mouth watering sweet potato pie. Sweet Vette’s splashy punch will be served.
Extra
Also featured this month will be a massage therapist to work out some kinks in your neck, back and shoulders. I’m a true believer that we must take good physical care of ourselves because today’s life styles are so fast paced that we must take in some TLC with every opportunity that’s presented to us. I’ve long advocated the importance of good physical health for the ladies in the house.
Door Prize Drawings
Door prize drawings are a regular part of Dinner at Sweet Vette’s each month. August winners were Margo and Talina. Each winner took home a loaf of Sweet Vette’s banana nut bread straight out of the oven. One of the winners described her prize in one word “yum”. Door prizes are one of the ways I can show appreciation for coming and supporting Dinners at Sweet Vette’s events.
