Dinner at Sweet Vettes – May Twenty Ten

Dinner at Sweet Vettes  table for May was a huge success.   We had nine guests in the house.   They came ate and enjoyed the meal, laughed and connected.

There were three ladies who were first time comers to Dinner at Sweet Vettes.  They sincerely expressed how they enjoyed themselves and assured me they’d be back for another delicious meal in coming months.

Served on the menu were smothered pork chops with gravy over rice, toss salad, homemade cheese and macaroni.  Desserts included my signature Louisiana banana pudding, sweet potato pie and walnut brownies served with New York vanilla ice cream.

Two door prizes were given.  Door prizes add to the fun just knowing guests has a 1 in 3/4 chance of leaving with one of my mouth watering desserts.  At this month’s event, two Louisiana banana puddings were given to two lucky ladies.

There were great exchanges between the guests with of mix of business and relationships.  Those positive exchanges are great opportunities  for future leads as many of my guests have small businesses or thinking about starting their own business.  Keeping those contacts on hand is key in building ones .

In the house were two writers.  One is a published author while the other is unpublished.  However she’s currently looking for a publisher.  Several entrepeneurs were in the house.  These ladies are so inspiring and are sharp sisters.  I’m talking movers and shakers.  When the ladies get together at Dinner at Sweet Vettes each month, there’s love flowing through our conversations with business and beauty tips.

It was past 8pm when the last guest left.  This echo how relaxing is at Dinner at Sweet Vettes e.  It is a pleasure to prepare a monthly gathering of food and hot out of the oven desserts.

If you and your friends are interested in joining in the fun on the 3rd Sunday of the month, please contact me via email at Yvette@sweetvettesdesserts.com or give me a call at (651.227.2358).  You can also connect with me on Facebook and Twitter.
