Dinner at Sweet Vettes – March Twenty-Ten
Dinner was great at Sweet Vettes table. It was a beautiful and warm Sunday afternoon. My first guests arrived right on time at 2:30pm. The aroma filled the air with the smell of fried catfish. The meal was served on fine China by Gibson.
The long stemmed, gold trimmed goblets which we drank from were filled with another one of Sweet Vettes originals a tangy punch with a fresh splashy flavor. The décor made such a beautiful finish to the setting.
Served with the fried catfish fillets was spaghetti with beef smoked sausage and ground turkey, buttered French bread and a vegetable medley. Desserts included two of my signature items: Louisiana banana pudding and mouth watering sweet potato pie.
Today’s crowd proved to be one of the second largest in attendence at a Dinner at Sweet Vettes gathering. With that said, I’m sending a huge shout out to my supporters. Thanks!
The comments that was made after dinner and dessert ranged from “can we have seconds”, “everything was delicious and I’m stuffed”.
