June’s Dinner at Sweet Vettes table was splendid and took place on a beautifully sunny afternoon.  Guests arrivedsharply at 2:30pm with appetites ready for a delicious meal and those Sweet Vettes mouthwatering desserts.

One friend arrived who brought along her mother, daughter and niece.  Her mom and niece were from out of town.  This was a first for all four at Dinner at Sweet Vettes.  There were a number of regulars who support is immeasureable such Betty, LaTasha and Tammy. Thanks to all who come and enjoy the food and continues supporting Sweet Vettes.  The time spent at this monthly event not only provide a good meal but also networking, relaxation and door prizes.

Marie was another first time guest at Dinner at Sweet Vettes.  Another friend brought her along.  Marie expressed how she enjoyed the conversation and said the meal was delicious and she like the idea of being served on Gibson’s fine China.  The patio is now open so many guests sat outside and enjoyed the meal where beautiful flower arrangements are displayed.  It’s a great atmosphere. 

The menu consisted of baked chicken, whipped potatoes, corn and green beans with bacon, potatoes and onions.  Desserts included hot out of the oven sweet potato pie, Louisiana banana pudding and more pie.  The second sweet potato was baking during the meal so guests could have pie to go.  Nine guests in all were in the house.   Names were drawn for two door prizes with Joshlynn and Betty being the winners.
