Dinner at Sweet Vette’s – September 2011
Dinner at Sweet Vette’s also know as DASV kicked off on Sunday, 9.11.11 at 3:00pm. The sun was so bright on that beautiful day. A small crowd was in the house as the aroma filled the air. We had a good number of carry-outs and deliveries for this down home meal.
On the menu was baked turkey wings and drumsticks with rice, homemade yams, cabbage with smoked turkey and cornbread. For dessert, we had a vanilla pound cake covered with fresh strawberries and a cool whip topping. Our beverages included Sweet Vette’s punch, bottled water and coffee. Sweet Vettes’s punch is always a favorite of my guests.
Sitting down and eating from fine China and drinking from long stemmed, gold trimmed goblets to a great southern style meal is what my guests has come to expect from Dinner at Sweet Vette’s table.
Conversations were lively and topics broad. We chatted about business, finances and relationships. The subject of finances is a given. I’m a strong proponent of saving for that rainy day and I’m also an instructor with a program called Camphor Fiscally Fit Center which is a 7-9 month curriculum. We also
provide one-on-one counseling and budgeting sessions to individuals in an effort to help raise your credit score. Keeping a credit score of 750 – 800 is considered a very good score. When your finances are in order, some stress can be alleviated in your life.
If you’re interested in taking your financial outlook to the next level, I can provide information on registering for our classes.
Sunday dinners at Sweet Vette’s has a warm and relaxing atmosphere. If you and your girlfriends or family members are interested in having a nice southern style Sunday dinner and don’t have time to cook, RSVP to Dinner at Sweet Vette’s for a delicious meal.
