Dinner at Sweet Vettes table for May was a huge success. We had nine guests in the house. They came ate and enjoyed the meal, laughed and connected.

On Sunday, May 2nd, dinner will be prepared for Sweet Vettes nieces and nephews. The meal is not the focus. However, I could not pass up this opportunity to show some love while we travel back in days past. This gathering is more about hanging out with Auntie Vette and the meal just happen to be part of getting together for old time sake.

Please join us at the March Sister Spokesman event. Our theme this month is Travel. We’re looking to hear from sisters on the road, on the boat and in the air. Lots of destination spots will be discussed on finding ways to get away even on a tight budget. Identifying nature spots and the outdoors maybe just what a sistah needs.

Sweet Vettes celebrated customer appreciation at this month’s event with ½ price meals ($5 each). Sweet Vettes chose Mexican cuisine featuring turkey Enchiladas, corn and a fabulous salad made of spinach leaves, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, mandarine orange slices, pineapple chunks, strawberries, glazed pecans, broiled chicken breasts and served with a honey/balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Last weekend Sweet Vettes Desserts services were rendered to deliver down home dinners to a group in Minneapolis. The group had previously heard about the delicious meals and desserts being prepared around the Twin Cities by Sweet Vettes Desserts.

Please join the sistahs of Sister Spokesman at this month’s outing.

It’s all going down at Baggans. We’ll be moved by the dancing tips as we get our groove on. Dancing is a fun and healthy way to stay active.

With the busy lives that we all live, this event will provide a clearer path to better health.

This month Dinner at Sweet Vette’s was a good time by all who entered. Served up on the menu was honey baked ham, potato salad, vegetable medley, homemade macaroni and cheese and dinner rolls. My desserts included sweet potato pie and apple pie with New York vanilla ice cream.

Please join Sister Spokesman for the first event of 2010. The theme this month is continuing education after 30. Sweet Vettes Dessert will be on hand with those mouth watering desserts. This month I’ve added Apple Pie to the list of sales. Sweet Vettes Apple Pie is certain to complete any delicious meal especially when served with vanilla ice cream.

Sister Spokesman will have its last event of the year at Arnellia’s. Sweet Vette’s Desserts will be vending at this event with those hot-out-of-the-oven tasty mouth watering desserts.

December 2009 Dinner at Sweet Vette’s was again a success. I measure success by the invited guest comments and positive energy. It’s largely measured on how much they’ve enjoyed the meal and desserts. The menu consisted of baked chicken with whipped potatoes, collard greens with smoked turkey, corn bread and homemade cheese and macaroni.
