My loyal supporters have spoken and I’ve listened. Requested for this month’s dinner, Sweet Vette will prepare a succulent golden brown turkey, down home dressing, gravy and cranberry sauce. Sides include collard greens with smoke turkey and homemade cheese and macaroni. Mouth watering Louisiana banana pudding and a lemon pound cake will be the desserts served with punch as our beverage.
On Saturday, December 4th, Camphor United Methodist Church held it’s Annual Chili Luncheon and Craft Show from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The earlier part of the morning browsers wondered from booth to booth viewing handmade products from jewelry, desserts, photography and other specialties. While in the afternoon, it was a combination downing bowls of chili, buying items and tasting samples of homemade desserts.
At this month’s event you’ll find an array of goods made and/or distributed by small businesses. From the many vendors, you’ll find mouth watering desserts, skin care products, scarps, purses and earrings.
On Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 3pm it’s all going down. Dinner will be served at Sweet Vettes table. A good appetite is the only thing needed and you will not be disappointed.

Dinner at Sweet Vettes table for May was a huge success. We had nine guests in the house. They came ate and enjoyed the meal, laughed and connected.
On Sunday, May 2nd, dinner will be prepared for Sweet Vettes nieces and nephews. The meal is not the focus. However, I could not pass up this opportunity to show some love while we travel back in days past. This gathering is more about hanging out with Auntie Vette and the meal just happen to be part of getting together for old time sake.
Please join us at the March Sister Spokesman event. Our theme this month is Travel. We’re looking to hear from sisters on the road, on the boat and in the air. Lots of destination spots will be discussed on finding ways to get away even on a tight budget. Identifying nature spots and the outdoors maybe just what a sistah needs.
Sweet Vettes celebrated customer appreciation at this month’s event with ½ price meals ($5 each). Sweet Vettes chose Mexican cuisine featuring turkey Enchiladas, corn and a fabulous salad made of spinach leaves, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, mandarine orange slices, pineapple chunks, strawberries, glazed pecans, broiled chicken breasts and served with a honey/balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
